Joanna Spicer is an illustrator and lecturer based in the South West of England (heart will always be in the North!). She is interested in capturing movement through drawing on location and people watching. Her personal drawing practice is featured in the A.O.I Varoom Intimacy (Issue 42), where her joyful drawings of her young twins attempt to capture their energy, spirit, noise, movement and moments of quiet.

Her commercial clients have included The Times, The Guardian, Centaur Communications, Nesta Future Lab, The Wellspring Project, and A & C Black Publishing.
